Same here, Ubuntu 18.04.1, Rhythmbox 3.4.2-4ubuntu1. Some stations regularly skip, others stop playing after half a minute. Thanks for pointing out uninstalling the shell extensions. I had the same problem and switching off all custom shell extensions helped instantly. It happens whe trying to save the image in .toc Format (cdrdao).
