[Bug 151302] Re: search folder does not filter correctly

opening the folder shows a lot of emails which should be in different folders,

selecting one of the mails, it takes about 10 sec. and in disapears in the list

[Bug 151302] Re: search folder does not filter correctly

2009-08-09 Thread René Brandenburger
Hi,

tryed it with the latest version from karmic running in a virtualbox. At
the moment, it does not look good at all, import of my settings from
jaunty didn't work, copying over the .evolution (and .cacert and
gnome2-private/Evolution) folder didn't work either and after setting it
up manually, i have the following:

*unread mails shows 9 items,
* nicht einsortiert shows 237 unread mails, where most of the mails are
actually sorted into different other folders already :-(

I'm sad to say that at the moment, it is just unusable ...

[Bug 206239] Re: system monitor doesn't sort by %cpu

2008-04-28 Thread René Brandenburger
seems like it's happening after some changes occur. If the box is busy
with lots of different processes, the order is almost immediately wrong,
if the box is mostly idleing it takes a longer time to get the sorting
wrong.

[Bug 217797] [NEW] [WishList] Visibility of tasks

2008-04-15 Thread René Brandenburger
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

it is only possible to set visibility of completed tasks from within the
overall settings. It would be nice if I could select the visibility of
tasks in the view definition or there should be an option in the filter
drop down which allows me to override se global setting.

[Bug 217800] [NEW] [WishList] Allow userdefined state for tasks

2008-04-15 Thread René Brandenburger
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

with the current version of evolution (hardy 8.04 beta), i'm only allowed to
set the state to 4 different values: (using german locale)
Nicht Begonnen
In Bearbeitung
Abgeschlossen
Abgebrochen

it would be nice if userdefined states could be defined, like waiting
for someone, waiting for approval ..., and even nicer if I could
optionally assign a completion percentage to these states.

[Bug 210327] [NEW] nautilus ssh mount always asks for password

2008-04-01 Thread René Brandenburger
Public bug reported:

i have set up a ssh mount in nautilus and the password is stored in the
gnome-keyring. When I select the ssh mount from Locations, i get asked
for the password of the keyring, and, after that, each file operation
(clicking on a folder, opening a file, copying a file ...) pops up the
ssh dialog 3 times to ask for the password again. I actually don't nedd
to enter the password, clicking abort is sufficient and after the third
dialog, the operation resumes normally.

[Bug 208056] [NEW] SSH Mounts working very unreliable

2008-03-27 Thread René Brandenburger
Public bug reported:

I use the connect to server feature of nautilus a lot to move stuff
between servers. After upgrading to Hardy Beta, ssh mounts don't work
reliable anymore, transfer just stops after a certain time (after about
5 to 6 MB). If than I try to open a folder on the remote Host, all I get
is a dbus error and restarting nautilus is the only way to get it
working again.

[Bug 155869] Re: deskbar-applet crashed with IOError in connect()

2007-10-23 Thread René Brandenburger
I'm running gutsy on a laptop, which is not always connected to a
network, but as it is most of the time, i've activated the yahoo search
plugin (see attached settings dialog). As long as I have a network
connection, this works fine, with the network cable pulled, it crashes.

Steps to reproduce:
0. make sure the network connection works
1. activate the Yahoo Search plugin
2. open the deskbar search an type your query
3. everything is fine
4. pull the network cable
5. search again
6. Bug Buddy pops up an reports the crash

A workaround is to deactivate the plugin if not online, but I think it
should just gracefully handle the connection problem as i do not want to
change the configuration everytime i go on- or offline.

[Bug 83154] Re: ms-tnef attachment not readable

2007-02-09 Thread René Brandenburger
ms-tnef is the so called MicroSoft Transport Neutral Encapsulation
Format. I actually found a small command line utility, ytnef, which is
able to handle this format, but it would be nice to handle it
transparently from within Evolution.

At the Moment, i only have some attachments containing sensitive data,
but i will try to generate one i can post here - it could take me a few
days to get hold on a Windows machine though.

[Bug 41851] Re: [Bug 41851] Re: gdmgreeter does not allow

2006-05-02 Thread René Brandenburger
Hi,

with the newest version ( all fixes till may first applied ) it does not
hang anymore, but there's still a strange behaviour when using TAB to
navigate.

1. boot ubuntu - greeter appears with focus on username field
2. TAB so that the user browser has focus - first user gets selected
3. now TAB again to get focus back to username field - it seems that
nothing is happeneing, user browser seems to keep focus
4. press TAB again - Authentication failed. Letters must be typed in
the correct case. Caps Lock is on. is displayed, no chance to enter a
password, and Caps Lock is definitely NOT on.

Using the mouse and Enter works as expected.

Thanks for your bug. Do you still have that issue? Is that specific to
that theme? How do you use TAB? Do you enter an username and press TAB
to validate it and then it hangs and doesn't ask for a password? Does it
 happen if you use enter?
