Luke is probably right: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/brasero/+bug/370999/comments/24 In this case, the debian package has to include both as dependencies, right? http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=582261#c5 Thanks for the report. I think I nailed down the bug. It was in wodim plugin that couldn't handle reporting the size of burnt data properly when it was over 2GiB. Now if you have growisofs, you shouldn't be using wodim in the first place (which is why I didn't see the bug for so long). I tried to fix that; please when 2.26.3 is installed on your computer make a test and see if you still have wodim burning DVDs. If so, let me know so I can fix that. ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #582261 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=582261 -- Replace wodim dependency with dvd+rw-tools https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/420434 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
Re: [Bug 370999] Re: reports 0% until finished, also slowly burning at speed 0.3x or 0.5x
To me, Brasero using wodim burns unreadable DVDs (wodim 9:1.1.9-1ubuntu1 64-bit). 1. Try burning at lower speeds (e.g. 2x or 4x) 2. Try with a different dvd burner (I mean your device/hardware, not the software). I tried with a DVD-rewritable disc (4.0x maximum speed): - burning 1.6GB image - burning 4.3GB image - burning 3.3GB of data All successful! -- reports 0% until finished, also slowly burning at speed 0.3x or 0.5x https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/370999 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
