[Bug 269920] Re: gnome-font-viewer missing in gnome-control-center
Sebastian, I beg your pardon, but this bug is still present in Jaunty. Steps to recreate this bug: 1. Go to System/Preferences/Main Menu 2. Choose: Menus/Applications/Other/Font Viewer and mark it. 3. Try to launch Font Viewer from Applications/Other/Font viewer - IT DOESN'T LAUNCH. I know that this bug is rather GNOME bug, but viewing fonts is basic functionality that Ubuntu should provide. BTW. There are many entries in System/Preferences/Main Menu/Menus/Applications/Other that are not valid. [Bug 360356] [NEW] [Jaunty] Useless service active by default in Ubuntu F-Spot

Binary package hint: f-spot
A Beagle service ("Notify Beagle on image changes") is active by default in
F-Sot Photo Manager 0.5.0.3-1ubuntu6.
Ubuntu doesn't have Beagle Search Tool in default installation, so there is no
reason for the service to run (despite consuming system resources).
Solution:
Go to: Edit/Manage extensions/Services and disable the Beagle service by
default or uninstall (delete) it in the F-Spot Ubuntu package.
