I came to this conclusion because Nautilus has very high memory usage (~150mb) without any browser being open. [Bug 499510] Re: nautilus really slow to open big documents folder
Hello Francesco, Thank you for taking the time to submit a report. I've just tried this with 800 empty folders and nautilus opens quickly. May I ask what type of files are contained in this folder?
