[Bug 973014] Re: Fails to decode many common video files encoded as AVC 1 Baseline - L2.1, Baseline - L1.1

2012-04-30 Thread Flavio Tordini
I can confirm this on 12.04. I add that sometimes, although more rarely,
video is played without audio. IMO, this is a total showstopper for a
media PC and should be marked as critical.

[Bug 880560] [NEW] Wrong info showed when properties invoked ina a context menu of a empty file tag in a expanded empty directory

2011-10-23 Thread Flavio Martins Prado

When you expand a empty folder in the list view, a empty tag is showed

then.

[Bug 227110] Re: Rhythmbox segfaults when using context menu in a Windows Share

2008-05-06 Thread Flavio C. da Costa
Hey,

I'm attaching a backtrace and a Valgrind dump.
In order to obtain those logs I had to find a way of calling rhythmbox the same
way the context menu does and it was easy enough to find out. Turns out that
rhythmbox simply runs like this rhythmbox
smb://machine-name/share-name/filename.mp3 so that's how I managed to
reproduce the bug through the command line.

I think that's all, If you need anything else, just ask.

[Bug 227110] [NEW] Rhythmbox segfaults when using context menu in a Windows Share

2008-05-05 Thread Flavio C. da Costa
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Hey,

I'm using Hardy and the problem I'm experiencing happens with Rhythmbox
version 0.11.5-0ubuntu6.

Let me describe the situation:

I have 2 desktops (both running Windows XP) and a notebook (running
Hardy). Both desktops have a Windows Share called 'Mp3' where I store
the musics I have on it. If I try to add these files in the Rhythmbox
playlist by opening the application and then clicking on the menu Music
- Import File it works like a charm, but when I try to play the music
using the context menu (maybe that's not the proper term, in Windows I
think people call it Shell Extensions) the application tries to start
but then closes almost instantly and I can see this message in
/var/log/messages:

kernel: [ 455.479155] rhythmbox[7117]: segfault at 0008 eip
08062f56 esp bfe3a890 error 4

I'm willing to provide more info if needed, just point me how to get it.

Then after 15 seconds its unfreezes and the volume is changed. I'm not
sure what is causing the freezing. But it seems to be a very common

[Bug 131564] Re: crashes when using the small theme

2007-10-04 Thread Flavio Carreira
After commiting theses lines from small theme gtkrc, I had no more
crashes:

#  GtkOptionMenu::indicator_size= { 5, 11 }
#  GtkOptionMenu::indicator_spacing = { 4, 3, 1, 1 }

The default theme don't have any of these.

[Bug 40872] Re: Desktop icons are allowed to overlap horribly

2006-06-22 Thread Flavio
I observed a similar problem when I sticked two removable media (a usb hdd and
a usb-stick) into the usb ports.
Ubuntu overlapped them in a very ugly way.

[Bug 46846] Re: Emblems get cut when scaled to 150% or more in default

2006-05-31 Thread Flavio
The issue doesn't remain after I scroll up and down in order to hide
the icon for a moment under the controls. (I hope you understand what
I mean)

[Bug 46846] Re: Emblems get cut when scaled to 150% or more in default

2006-05-30 Thread Flavio
I installed dapper (may 22 release), I switched several times my icon
theme from osx to nuoveXT, and then back to default (human); but I see
the bug with all of them. I installed dapper also on another pc, it has
the same problem.

[Bug 46846] Emblems get cut when scaled to 150% or more in default

2006-05-26 Thread Flavio
Public bug reported:

If I set my default zoom level greater than 150%, I see my emblems (which are
located on the right upper side of the icons) cut on the right side. So half of
the emblem is hidden/(cut off).
Zooming a level up or down, the issue vanishes. But on each opening of a
folder, the emblems get cut. That's awful to see! :-/

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
   Severity: Normal
   Priority: (none set)
 Status: Unconfirmed
