But moving those icons with the left mouse button is broken: - you can not drag drop back from panel to desktop, or to another panel - you can not move such a icon from panel position into the drawer applet (this only works for normal icons from menu, not self added drag dropped items. This all workes normal on a dapper system.) My use case that got broken: I drag dropped five pdf file's to the panel, i thought thats messy and added the drawer applet. The crash is reproducible, but i have to try several times opening and closing one or more of the pictures. It did not matter if the mail is viewed in the preview box or in a separate window. Perhaps the spaces in the filename are the problem, i can see the grey
crashed evolution window. I can see that the file looks like it has been
attached, but the filename looks like this:

I updated ubuntu dapper today and checked afterwards again,
It crashed again with the file drag-dropped from the smb:// location.
It did not crash when i copied the file to my home-dir and drag dropped it from

Then you have the possibility to show notification messages instead of popups. Perhaps mail-notification can do this job, and act more like a remote-control for evolution. On my notebook i often have interruptions and changes in the network-connections and dont use the mail-notification because of this.
