[Bug 1973564] [NEW] File dialog doesn't return current filter in Ubuntu 20.02
Public bug reported: The file dialog implementation doesn't return the current filter. It is in the spec and it is fixed in newer versions of the portals. But the 1.6.0 version doesn't return it. This is an issue for Inkscape which uses the filter to select which file format someone wishes to save as if they override the defaults. [Bug 1579837] Re: Issue after wizard with policykit
So I think what we're gonna do is use this bug for tracking the fixes and landings for the touch images. This will be for OTA12, OTA11 will not see the PK agent on it, we're just going to keep these bugs swept under the rug like they were in OTA10. At the root of it all the issue seems to be bug 1512002 where accounts service was being too strict and we don't have a full session on the phone. [Bug 969359] Re: [keyboard]: gnome-settings-daemon consumes 100% cpu (and blinking numlock)
I am on 14.04 LTS and using Gnome. I encountered severe and frequent high CPU consumption caused by gnome-settings-daemon process. I then deleted /usr/lib/gnome-settings-daemon-3.0/keyboard.gnome-settings- plugin. I also applied the num lock fix as explained in #107. I noticed improved (less frequent) gnome-settings-daemon hangs, but still experienced them enough to be a big irritant. I then started performing traces. and noticed many failures in trying to open /var/cache/fontconfig. I then googled what could be causing that. I then came across this page: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=612105 I then applied (as suggested on that page) restorecon -R '/var/cache/fontconfig' That seems to have done the trick. [Bug 985082] Re: rhythmbox crashed with SIGABRT in raise()
Unmarking this as a duplicate since I've figured out what the issue was and the other bug is private. I had restored my home directory from a backup, and the permissions on ~/.cache/rhythmbox/album-art were root:root 700. Changing the ownership to my user allowed rhythmbox to start. Rhythmbox also crashes when the directory is unreadable for any other reason, though it will start fine if the directory doesn't exist. So, the real bug is that rhythmbox assumes that if the directory exists, it can open it. ** This bug is no longer a duplicate of private bug 976734 ** Summary changed: - rhythmbox crashed with SIGABRT in raise() + rhythmbox crashes with SIGABRT when ~/.cache/rhythmbox/album-art is unreadable -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/985082 Title: rhythmbox crashes with SIGABRT when ~/.cache/rhythmbox/album-art is unreadable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/985082/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 833397] Re: indicator power displayed twice on panel
I do get this, but only unity-2d not 3d. One of the items is in the systray, one is an indicator. I believe that gsd is detecting a fallback and putting the item in the systray.
