There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. IMO it should take as long as nautalis takes to display the file list, which is how long it took in previous versions. Since 13.04 it takes longer than physically copying the music over. Thanks dogmatic69 for this information. It would be good if you could test your issue with the development version of Ubuntu (14.04) that has a much newer version of Rhythmbox.
