Timo - I now have 2 laptops to try on currently both get the interactive screen in an ubuntu session. That being said some other expected behavior concerning power like laptop lid close, initiating shutdown closing lid before complete, ect. do show different behaviors, some incorrect. With latest g-s-d ( 3.8.5-0ubuntu2 Interactive on power button now works correctly As far as laptop lid close. As far as I can see there are now only 2 'real' options, Do nothing or suspend. All options in gsettings other than do nothing will suspend As far as Do nothing - in the past that would blank the screen on lid close, in 13.10 that doesn't happen, too bad, (may be intentional, not possible or hardware specific. An additional new 'too bad' concerning power is seen here. Do nothing will lock your computer when you close the lid. In GNOME Shell at least the screen is also blanked. No, I think this bug can be closed. With gnome-settings-daemon 3.8.5-0ubuntu2 which was just uploaded to Saucy, I can't duplicate either of these bugs.
