But if you are then please upgrade to the latest Ubuntu version and re-test. [Bug 1326038] Re: No logout from remote flashback session in trusty
If gnome-session-quit also doesn't work, then it is a bug in gnome- session, and there is nothing we can do in gnome-panel about that. I suggest you to ping the author of the patch from bug 491940. ** Package changed: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) => gnome-session (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1326038 Title: No logout from remote flashback session in trusty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-session/+bug/1326038/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Bug #491940 may also have information (that seems to be the patch contining the error message I see). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1326038 Title: No logout from remote flashback session in trusty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/1326038/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1326038] Re: No logout from remote flashback session in trusty
Hm, I cannot reproduce this at home (standard Trusty installation, remote login via XDMCP: all fine). There must be some reason why logout does not work with our LTSP server. Question: What can prevent logout from gnome-session? What can cause the above cited error? (Failed to call logout: Logout interface is only available during the Running phase.) ** Bug watch added: Red Hat Bugzilla #1063093 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1063093 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1326038 Title: No logout from remote flashback session in trusty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/1326038/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
