SRU verification for Artful:
I have reproduced the defects mentioned in [1] with gnome-settings-daemon 
3.26.1-0ubuntu5 in artful and have verified that the version of 
gnome-settings-daemon 3.26.2-0ubuntu0.1 in -proposed fixes the issue. I also 
performed some extra exploratory testing and didn't find any new issue.

Accepted gnome-settings-daemon into artful-proposed. The package will
build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source
/gnome-settings-daemon/3.26.2-0ubuntu0.1 in a few hours, and then in the
-proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package.  See

to enable and use -proposed.Your feedback will aid us getting this
update out to other Ubuntu users.
