Hello! Well, the output of Alsa information script that you attached in this report is different from an usual one. So, could you please try to download that script once again, open a terminal and type sudo bash utils_alsa-info.sh? This script will generate a report and will output an URL, for example http://www.alsa- project.org/db/?f=1c87c6c120da47897f303b7b87ca733a31c58d9d . Please, paste the url for your pc in this bug report. I was wondering whether we can merge bug #320063, since it seems to be the same problem that you have reported here. Can I mark bug #320063 as a duplicate of this one? Can you use another music player for reproducing a file? Mr. Michele Mangili, yes, I can ear the status sound of my machine. So I can ear the sound from 'Sound recorder', 'ZynAddSubFX', Skype but not from Rhytmbox. If it is of any use to you, I want tell you that I had sound problems with this machine as reported in Bug# 320063. They suddenly disappeared, perhaps as result of some Update. I just tried to play a CD with Rhytmbox in another PC with AMD64 processor with the same result: No Sound. Mr. Michele Mangili, I want to add that, after sending the previous note, I downloaded and installed Amarok. This program does not work either. At the beginning. after clicking on the Icon, a notification of error appears: Signal 11 SIGSEGV. I tried to understand the meaning of it, but the KDE help system is to much complicate for me.
