Here is the backtrace from when I now open evolution (dbg symbols are installed for evolution), it asks for my password, I enter my password and click ok and then The Evolution address book has quit unexpectedly. Your contacts for google://1272704872.2291...@swankeee will not be available until Evolution is restarted. appears. I hit ok and then I ctrl+c'ed gdb. I am getting the same problem. Whenever, I try to sync google contact, evolution crashes. this is what I am being told: Evolution error The Evolution address book has quit unexpectedly. Your contacts for google://kilian.klai...@gmx.de will not be available until Evolution is restarted. thanks for the report, may you please try to reproduce the same with a new user account created on your system? I've tried to reproduce it but here works fine, the contacts are synced. Do you get any messages on the command line if run evolution from there?
