[Bug 414262] Re: "Unspecified error" while trying to create a directory on a camera

2010-10-15 Thread Pedro Villavicencio
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. A new version of GVFS is available on Maverick and we are
wondering if this bug is still an issue for you with that version? Could
you please test and comment back? Thanks in advance.

And yes, it's in Karmic, too.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? May you please try the same with Karmic? Thanks in advance.

[Bug 414262] Re: "Unspecified error" while trying to create a directory on a camera

2009-08-21 Thread tc7
Unable to copy files to SDHC card (via Canon camera)

I get the same error with the following equipment on Jaunty:

1) Canon IXUS 110IS, using either Sandisk or Lexar 4GB SDHC 2
1) Canon IXUS 80IS, using either Sandisk or Lexar 4GB SDHC 2

error message:
There was an error copying the file into gphoto2://[usb:002,012]/DCIM.
Error writing file: -108: No such file or directory

In all cases the drive mounts successfully in nautilus. Copying
(importing) images works fine, The problem occurs only when trying to
copy a file, or create a new directory.

I've tried two different USB ports and two different micro USB to USB
connector cables.

Is there another way to copy photos back onto a SDHC card in Ubuntu?
