I have karmic fully updated with only 50M left in my Home folder. I could not empty the trash using the trash bin icon or the warning pop-up that appears. It appears to be deleting but nothing is deleted. Hello Pedro Villavicencio, Yes. I have experienced it with Ubuntu Karmic. It was up-to-date at that time. I have about 20% free space now. I don't see any issue with emptying trash now. Not sure if I have this problem now if the disk is almost full. Oops, The info I just posted is wrong. I have ubuntu both on my laptop and desktop. Laptop has Jaunty. Desktop has Karmic. So I got confused. Sorry about that. I have only seen this problem on Jaunty (laptop). I haven't seen this issue on Karmic yet. I am yet to run out of space. On my laptop, when I move to Karmic, which will happen soon, I will check if this problem exists.
