That's fixed in liboobs 2.29.90. Have you asked Chris before assigning him this bug? For anyone needing a workaround, the command adduser executed from the terminal can be used to add a new user. Type adduser -help for usage instructions. Strangely, though, the new user created with this command does not show up in the users-admin GUI, nor does it show up in the list diaplayed at the login screen.
