[Bug 568048] Re: nautilus locks up with dbus error when accessing remote shares
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. A new version of GVFS is available on Maverick and we are wondering if this bug is still an issue for you with that version? Could you please test and comment back? Thanks in advance. ** Changed in: gvfs (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- nautilus locks up with dbus error when accessing remote shares https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/568048 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 568048] Re: nautilus locks up with dbus error when accessing remote shares
The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME) ** Changed in: gvfs (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = New -- nautilus locks up with dbus error when accessing remote shares https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/568048 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 568048] Re: nautilus locks up with dbus error when accessing remote shares
After further investigation the share was locking up gvfs and crashing nautilus due to a stale nfs handle. The bug can be duplicated by shutting down an nfs server while keeping the client active. I've attached uninteresting gdb output from gvfs-open sftp://share. I am willing to investigate further but am not sure what to attach gdb to. Should I attach to dbus? ** Attachment added: gdb-gvfs.txt http://launchpadlibrarian.net/45241988/gdb-gvfs.txt -- nautilus locks up with dbus error when accessing remote shares https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/568048 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
