#6 is not working for me. I recreated facebook groups and all contacts in new groups are listed as Ungrouped. I guess if the intention were to read and display groups without changing them, there would not be an 'add group' feature at all or it would not be possible to change groups by dragdrop. The problem might be related to libfolks. It seems to pull the group memberships from the chat service each time empathy is opened. For example, if you have a group setup in your facebook contacts, then each time you open empathy, the members of that group will be listed in that group, even if you changed it last time you were in empathy. Ditto. I tried putting all my contacts in Friends, and after a restart, many of them were back in Buddies.
