Hi Almufadado, could you please test the latest ubuntu release, e.g. daily live ISO? And what is the charset encoding for the tags in your mp3 files. If this is caused by tags not in utf-8, could you try put "export GST_ID3_TAG_ENCODING=" (e.g. ISO8859-15) to your .bashrc file and re-login to see if anything changes?
