[Bug 496182] Re: After quitting empathy the status icon doesn't return to its normal state but gets greyed out.
For Lucid, the IM status and the session menu [systems shutdown menu] are separate. The current implementation as mentioned in the bug 432635 was a temporary solution. It would probably be ported into Karmic as well , when the feature is completed in Lucid. -- After quitting empathy the status icon doesn't return to its normal state but gets greyed out. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/496182 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 499754] Re: I can not edit menu entries in alacarte at random - Ubuntu Lucid (10.04)
On my Lucid Alpha 1 (clean install, up-to-date as of today) I can't find any menu items which would trigger the described error messages. ankspo71, was this a fresh install or an upgrade? You could take a look at /usr/share/desktop-directories and ~/.local/share/desktop-directories/ and verify that they contain files with the .directory extension. Do you get the exception also when trying to open properties of a launcher (not a folder)? If so, the exception should be a bit different. You could add the statement: print file_path above line 377 (and indented similarly to the surrounding lines) of /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/Alacarte/MainWindow.py and see what file paths Alacarte prints out when you click on the Properties button. It looks like some of the file names lack an extension and cause the exception you described. -- I can not edit menu entries in alacarte at random - Ubuntu Lucid (10.04) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/499754 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to alacarte in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

@ Pedro Villaviecenio: Brasero only offers: 1) Burning an Audio-CD (not Audio-DVD) 2) Burning a Data-DVD (not Audio-DVD) Audio-DVD is a special format and therefore is not the same as data DVD (have a look at Wikipedia:http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=DVD- Audiooldid=333232291). Audio DVD is neither supported in Brasero nor in Nautilus nor in any other Ubuntu application. There are some software solutions that do something different, but that is not Audio DVD: One application is able to burn a video-DVD. In this DVD the video stream is only a blue screen. The audio stream contains the music (I suppose as MP3-stream). This application is called Audio DVD creator (link: http://www.audio-dvd-creator.com/guide.htm) but - despite its name - it does not create DVDs in the audio DVD standard. @Marinko: You should probably open new bugs for your other pdf's that wont read on linux, unless they show the same errors in the terminal.
