[Bug 113338] Re: Cannot close a tab in Gedit by middle clicking the tab bar

[Bug 1426307] Re: location is inaccurate
I just figured out that GPS is working perfectly in Portugal and Spain but not in Germany. Mobile data connection and wifi are completely turned off and location is available after 10-30 seconds. In Germany there is no location available at all. Maybe it depends on the mobile provider, maybe on the different time zone. Is there a way to check how many satellites can be contacted? And what the phone is actually doing while searching for satellites? And especially where. [Bug 1468624] Re: job queue not populated and nothing listed
hi Till, here is the answer made by Matthias Clasen (id=754346): ** The job queue is in the control-center printer panel. I don't think we need to duplicate it in the print dialog. *** So i does not think that upstream will made change, as it appear the request is not understood, or wrongly affected to GTK print dialog. I'm not sure about that 'control-center printer panel', is it refering to hp-tool box or else ? [Bug 33288]
I just realized we never really followed up on the last two patches. My concern is that they change the pdftotext output. I though they where for a) speed b) text selection so i'd prefer if they did not change pdftotext output. I've checked a few files of the changed ones and the changes can be argued not to be for better or worse, but then again the problem is that 1 out of 3 files i have has a changed output in pdftotext and having 1600 files in the test suite it makes it impossible for me to go over them all and verify the changes are "not better nor worse". Is there any chance we get patches that don't influence pdftotext output or at least not such drastically? And yes, i know it's ages ago since you wrote the patches, sorry. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/33288 Title: Evince doesn't handle columns properly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/poppler/+bug/33288/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1490244] [NEW] "Print to file" silently fails
You have been subscribed to a public bug: Not sure what package this bug should be filed against, but I observed the following behaviour on my trusty box. Open a page in firefox for example or some other document you'd like to print to a PDF. Ctrl+P to print. Select "Print to file". Navigate to the place you would to save to, let's say this was "/tmp/" for simplicity of demonstartion. Make sure there is a directory called /tmp/test.pdf (I know this is silly, but it actually happens quite often accidentally by how selecting a folder and file name are presented in these dialogs). Save the file now as test.pdf. You should receive a warning now that /tmp/test.pdf already exists (the directory) and whether you want to overwrite it. Choose Yes. You'd expect the file to be created now, but actually that is not the case. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed ** Tags: bot-comment trusty -- "Print to file" silently fails https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1490244 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
