I saw xauth list defaults to display :0 , and according to nvidia- settings, nvidia on-demamd profile uses screen 256, not screen 0. So i tried this: $ xauth add localhost:256 . $(xxd -l 16 -p /dev/urandom) after above command: xauth list, and the hexkey is there But, i noticed no diff without these commands Any idea?? Hi, I would to share my case I think is a environment variable we know DISPLAY and some xorg.conf tweaks (edid, modevalidation maybe) under wayland i echo display like this: echo $DISPLAY it returns :1 Ihave built-in and an external monitor echo $WAYLAND_DISPLAY ; returns wayland-0 and when i unset DISPLAY, under wayland games performance is better and less glitches ...
