[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1469485] [NEW] Chromium triggers keychain unlock too late

2015-06-28 Thread Kumbarov
Public bug reported:

When you visit a login page for which you have saved the password, the
browser does not auto fill the password. You have to enter it again.
Once you have entered it, Chromium asks you to save it (even though it
has been saved a thousand times before). When you choose to save it,
Ubuntu asks you to unlock the keychain. After you unlock it, you don't
have to manually enter saved passwords in the current session.

This is extremely stupid and inconvenient - what's the point of saving
passwords when you have to always enter it again plus enter the keychain
password to log into accounts? Instead of not entering any password -
you have to enter two passwords! Other browsers, like Firefox, don't
work this way. Please remove the keychain unlock all together or trigger
the unlock dialogue prior account password entry or on browser startup.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1441487] [NEW] Running any Java program produces messages in the terminal

2015-04-08 Thread Kumbarov
Public bug reported:

I just installed Ubuntu 15.04 and was surprised to discover that when
running a Java based program from the terminal in Unity, the following
message appears: Picked up JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS:
-javaagent:/usr/share/java/jayatanaag.jar. I tried several programs and
it is all the same. Some Java programs with enabled Java security
produce even some error messages and crash. If I press Ctrl+Alt+F1 to
start a new terminal session without a GUI and run a Java program
(without a GUI), I don't experience this problem. Back in Unity, if I
unset JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS in the terminal and run a Java program, it works
fine.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 875195] Re: Screen is very dim after turning on Laptop

2013-04-20 Thread Kumbarov
I have an ASUS UL30A laptop with Intel® GMA X4500MHD graphics card and I
have had this problem ever since I started using Ubuntu (10.04). Now I
run 12.04 and the problem persists. I have tried everything but nothing
works except going to Brightness and Lock, decreasing Brightness to
the minimum and then increasing it again. I have to do this everytime I
log in or after unlocking the screen.

By the way I don't have Dim screen to save power checked, Turn screen
off when inactive for is set to Never and Lock is OFF but never
the less the screen dims and locks. So neither of the options on the
Brightness and Lock works for me.

Installed Ubuntu 11.10 64bit on my Fujitsu Esprimo Mobile V6555 laptop.
Every time when turned on, the screen is extremely dim. Brightness up
combination (Fn+F9) doesn't work. Need to go to System settings - Screen and
rise brightness from there. I rise it there to the max and the brightness is
still not maximal. Then I need to press Fn+F9 once to rise it to the brightest.
