[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1982885] Re: Firefox does not scroll with touch input
I've submitted a bug report to Mozilla: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1833411 TBH, it seems a little crazy for Ubuntu to depend on a browser packaged by a third party like this. How is ubuntu supposed to get stuff fixed in Firefox if Mozilla aren't interested? ** Bug watch added: Mozilla Bugzilla #1833411 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1833411 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1982885 Title: Firefox does not scroll with touch input Status in firefox package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: Firefox does not scroll with the usual touch gesture of swiping up or down on the screen. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1982885] Re: Firefox does not scroll with touch input
I'd "fixed" this bug long term by switching to the deb provided by Mozilla however ubuntu 22.04 recently decided to replace my deb install with the snap for no obvious reason so I just wanted to add that touch scrolling is still broken on the current snap. Is there no prospect of fixing this? It seems like "MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1" should probably be the default... since wayland is the default on current Ubuntus. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1982885 Title: Firefox does not scroll with touch input Status in firefox package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: Firefox does not scroll with the usual touch gesture of swiping up or down on the screen.
