It has now been removed in Ubuntu gnome-screensaver, so it can be put back in xscreensaver again (only the .desktop file is missing). This will not happen in Debian yet, since the gnome-screensaver there (and upstream) still ships its own popsquares. PREVIOUSLY LINKED QUESTION: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xscreensaver/+question/149793 ORIGINAL REPORT: Binary package hint: xscreensaver On a new install of Lucid, I can't find the popsquares screensaver, which was previously part of xscreensaver. However, the popsquares screensaver is not currently listed as part of the xscreensaver-extra package. This particular screensaver was a favorite of my son. Any chance it can be restored? This leads to a nagging sense that I'm receiving an email and general feeling of discontent, much like looting the north west airfield in DayZ. I suspect the cause is that the battery pulse charges up the last 5% or so and the monitor is seeing the charging status changing from idle to charging repeatedly. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1126703] Re: I up dated unbuntu, now I have no side bar/ destop icons
Hi! I convert this bug to a question as it is more of a support case and this way you'll get it answered faster. ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid ** Converted to question: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+question/222002 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1126703 Title: I up dated unbuntu, now I have no side bar/ destop icons Status in “xserver-xorg-video-ati” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: After upgrade I have no menu bar at the top and the side bar won't come out. Right click gives the usual menu and I can bring up All Settings, but I change anything in the screens menu. The two keyboard shortcuts I know still work, ctrl-alt L and Terminal, but the windows key doesn't. The top bar is on the screen until I log in. I tried logging in as guest, no change Per some other instructions I opened Terminal and entered a reset on something, sorry, I don't recall what the command was but it was an answer to a missing Home bar. The only reason I decided to upgrade was to try to get dual-monitor functionality back after I lost it in the last upgrade. When this is done to flac files, the quality shown is no longer Lossless but Unknown. Somehow the Picture Flac Vorbis Tag confuses the code that verifies the quality of a file. The flac files plays fines, it's only an aesthetic bug.
