[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1175608] Re: Thumbnails too small in 'open file' dialog nautilus
2017 ubuntu 16.04 Unity out of the box. Same thing. Very ugly. It is almost impossible to find necessary files if you have hundreds of them for example in camera folder. Have to open standalone Files window, look for files I need and then find those files by name in Open Files dialog. Very very disappointing thing. I think priority should be increased because this is vital common feature. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1175608 Title: Thumbnails too small in 'open file' dialog nautilus Status in Nautilus: Confirmed Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: When trying to upload image files to e.g. websites like marktplaats.nl (kind of ebay) I get very, very small image thumbnails. There seems no way to enlarge these thumbnails. All options only work if Nautilus is used stand alone, but not with the open file dialog that is being used to upload files. I have attached a screen dump just to show what I mean. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1687010] Re: Ubuntu Software 3.20.1 shows "install" button instead of "remove"/"launch" for recently instaled apps
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1551599 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1551599 Thank you for useful hot key (Alt + F2) I was looking for it, but it is not visible in system settings or in [hold super]. Situation with hot keys is very complicated too. I'm starting to think that Unity desktop is not the best choice. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-software in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1687010 Title: Ubuntu Software 3.20.1 shows "install" button instead of "remove"/"launch" for recently instaled apps Status in gnome-software package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: It lives it's own life. VERY confising for a newcomer - especially for mac/windows user. This is unacceptable. This is the first and main app that newcomers deal with. For example I have recently installed VLC player via Ubuntu Software. Than I closed Ubuntu Software. I was using VLC for whole day, but when I open Ubuntu Software, it still suggests me to Install it. And this problem is not just in 16.04. I have tried Ubuntu few years ago and this problem pissed me off. THE OTHER CASE.. Install something. Ubuntu Software shows remove/launch buttons, but only for a second! And than it hides remove/launch and shows Install again. And only after reboot it understands finally that application is already installed. SAME PROBLEM WITH UPDATES!! Sometimes when I open Updates tab I see many available updates, than Ubuntu Software starts convulsing like epileptic. It shows empty updates list, than many updates again, than no updates - no comments. This is SHAME.
