Normally, this would open a second Nautilus window for the selected folder, but instead, any open Nautilus windows disappear and no window opens for the selected folder. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1565101] [NEW] linker failures possibly due to wrong ABI config
Public bug reported: Hello, I'm not really an expert in this sort of thing, but I was having trouble building things that depend on glog-dev in 15.10 (such as FB folly). Some google searching found me this thread: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/caffe-users/a6TDx89IByY/lTWaK0dPBQAJ from folks having trouble building caffe. The linked poster suggests that this is because the package in the repo has been built with -D_GLIBCXX_USE_CXX11_ABI=0 rather than 1. I was able to fix my problem by recompiling from the source distribution, which might lend some credence. Anyway, just wanted to make sure you folks were aware of this. ** Affects: google-glog (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to google-glog in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1565101 Title: linker failures possibly due to wrong ABI config Status in google-glog package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Hello, I'm not really an expert in this sort of thing, but I was having trouble building things that depend on glog-dev in 15.10 (such as FB folly). [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1088389] [NEW] Signon-ui takes a very long time to appear
Public bug reported: I am behind a proxy server and have set up the appropriate proxy settings. Ubuntu 12.10 signon-ui-0.11-0ubuntu1 Expected Behaviour. 1. Once we select an account, should be able to authenticate immediately. To reproduce the bug. 1. Open Online Accounts, and try to set up a Google Account. 2. You just get a blank screen in your Online Accounts dialog box. 3. After a few minutes, the signon-ui appears. 4. Enter the details there and press enter. 5. The Signon-ui box goes blank. I am not sure if this problem exists for everyone, or only for people behind a proxy server. ** Affects: gnome-control-center-signon (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: proxy -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center-signon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1088389 Title: Signon-ui takes a very long time to appear Status in “gnome-control-center-signon” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I am behind a proxy server and have set up the appropriate proxy settings. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 702418] Re: Two power managers started
** Changed in: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => karthik (karthik543v) ** Changed in: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => In Progress -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/702418 Title: Two power managers started Status in Software Updater: Fix Committed Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu: In Progress Bug description: Not sure if this is an issue with the Xfce power manager or desktop in general... I've been using XUbuntu for several years on a Thinkpad laptop. Using the XFCE power manager I have configured the laptop to suspend when the laptop lid is closed. However, when I upgraded to XUbuntu 10.10, XFCE started also gnome-power-manager automatically. This has the effect that quite often when I open the lid, the laptop resumes and immediately goes back to sleep. Only the second resume succeeds. I had to manually remove gnome-power-manager from the startup session, and now things work mostly fine. However, occasionally (after using the laptop for some time) gnome-power-manager is mysteriously started and the same problem occurs. I have to kill gnome-power-manager to get rid of it. There should be some check that the two power managers don't run at the same time since they are obviously incompatible.
