  Version Bump to 4.5

Status in eclipse package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged
Status in eclipse package in Debian:
  New

Bug description:
  I find it necessary to have development tools synced to the latest,
  and I would request a version bump to Eclipse 4.2 Juno by quantal. It
  has special features for mobile development, and that is something
  which a lot of users will benefit from.

  Also, I am a "novice" if you may in terms of filling bugs for version
  bumps. Do tell me if this is the right way to do it. I checked debian-
  unstable, and I didnt find that the 4.2 package there yet.

  Thanks.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 987364] Re: Broadcom 43225 wireless not working on lubuntu 12.04

2012-05-08 Thread quent57
It's work for me on a Acer Aspire TimelineX 1830T.

I have done an update to Ubuntu 12.04 from ubuntu 11.10 64 bit.

Some info of my config :

$ sudo lshw | grep 802.
produit: BCM43225 802.11b/g/n
configuration: broadcast=yes driver=brcmsmac
driverversion=3.2.0-24-generic firmware=N/A ip=192.168.1.44 latency=0 link=yes
multicast=yes wireless=IEEE 802.11bgn

$ uname -a
Linux quentin-Aspire-1830T 3.2.0-24-generic #37-Ubuntu SMP Wed Apr 25 08:43:22
UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

And I have added blacklist acer_wmi to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

 A small story :
It's worked on Ubuntu 11.10 after those operations :
 - install the proprietary driver
 - add blacklist acer_wmi
It worked well except on wpa2. With a wpa2 key, the internet worked 5 seconds
after connection, after the connection status was ok, but i cannot access
internet.

Ask me if you want more details.
