Public bug reported: Ubuntu comes without LibreOffice Base by default. In LibreOffice Writer, in Mail Merge wizard, at step 3, there's a window that allows you to select data sources. It does not work (basically, after selecting a file you cannot proceed) unless Base is installed. I am unable to reproduce it any more. Base starts both with other LibreOffice apps launched and without them. The only major thing I've changed in the OS is that I've installed Oracle Java 7 (from original packages) and AFAIK LibreOffice depends somehow on Java (correct me if I am wrong). Obviously I've installed dozens of updates etc. and any of them could affect this problem. libglib2.0-dev does not include GLib's systemtap probe definitions, so
it is impossible to perform GLib debugging using systemtap.
Basically it means that /usr/share/systemtap/tapset/gobject.stp is
missing (there is no package that provides such file).
On Fedora, it comes as part of glib*-devel.

Public bug reported: I have added more than 8000 songs to my rhythmbox database. When it starts, it scans all of the songs, which makes whole PC unresponsible for 40-50 seconds. I've opened empathy preferences window, the tab with theme selector. When I've opened it, the dropdown with theme name was set to Ubuntu, but the sample in the window below was broken. I've just switched from the Ubuntu theme to another one, then switched back to Ubuntu and everything now works ok.
