@jazzynico Now i am using netrunner 13.10 (based on kubuntu 13.10) and Inkscape 0.48.4 r9939. I don't face this problem anymore. What I suspect the cause of this problem is that I was using a new version of gime 2.8 and I installed a new version of libpoppler which differs form the official version that comes with 0.48.3.1. @Fahad - In order to close the report properly, could you please tell us if you tested both Inkscape versions on the same operating system, and confirm it crashes with the official (0.48.3.1) package but not with the trunk version? Does it crash no matter which file format you choose for saving? Yes. I tried what suggested in Bug #1049179 but no thing change.
