I was able to simplify it this file and was still able to produce this and have included it here as well. LibreOffice document b.odt attached LibreOffice pdf printout document b.pdf, which is normal, attached Printer prints document almost correctly, however, the image as mentioned above is warped. I can scan this output and add it if so requested. Can you please follow the instructions of the sections CUPS error_log, Capturing print job data, and Getting the data which would go to the printer on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems. Is the result of Capturing print job data correctly displayed by evince? Does lpr prinbtout print it correctly? What format is the result of Getting the data which would go to the printer? You can find it out running the command file printout. If it is PostScript or PDF, can you display it with evince? Can you print it with lpr -oraw printout? If it is PostScript or PDF, please also follow the instructions of the section PostScript (PDF) printer chokes on the PostScript (PDF) coming from Ubuntu on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems. Please do not package or compress any attachments, please attch them one by one. Hi Joe, I've not seen this bug with other images, but it is reliably repeatable. If you can clue me in to how to print a pdf and odt file with firefox or chrome I would be happy to do this for you. IMHO such things are not within the domain of a browser. From my review the link to printer problems seemed to be not useful, but thank you for the link. Just a clarification ... when I print preview the .odt file in libreoffice writer it displays perfectly ... not so with printing. When I print preview the .pdf file in okular it displays perfectly ... no so with printing. When I display the .tif file with Image Magick it displays and prints correctly. When I load the .tif file in gimp it displays and prints correctly. I've attached the tif file. I don't need a work-around. :-) What I'm trying to do is document a bug that can be reliably reproduced. Thanks! Again if I can be of further assistance please ask! Does this only happen within Libreoffice? For example, if you print from chrome or firefox does everything look ok?
