[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1218365] Re: network half-working after flashing mako 20130829.1
@Alan Can you reproduce this reliably? The only thing that looks suspicious in your original description is that the routing table appears to have two default routes setup. Also, in comment #1 you don't provide the routing table for comparison. As this involves Wi-Fi and Mobile data, I don't think you hit bug #1206888, however that's just based upon a quick read of your bug. Finally, if you *can* reproduce this, can you also include the output of 'nmcli c' and '/usr/lib/ofono/scripts/list-contexts'? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1218365 Title: network half-working after flashing mako 20130829.1 Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Flashed 20130829.1 onto mako It's already configured for network and 3g:- alan@deep-thought:~$ adb shell root@ubuntu-phablet:/# ifconfig loLink encap:Local Loopback inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0 inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1 RX packets:52 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:52 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 RX bytes:4049 (4.0 KB) TX bytes:4049 (4.0 KB) rmnet_usb0 Link encap:UNSPEC HWaddr 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00 inet addr:10.50.90.78 Mask:255.255.255.252 inet6 addr: fe80::26c4:72b7:e10f:83f2/64 Scope:Link UP RUNNING MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:2 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:8 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:612 (612.0 B) TX bytes:928 (928.0 B) wlan0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 98:d6:f7:62:80:e2 inet addr:192.168.0.13 Bcast:192.168.0.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 inet6 addr: fe80::9ad6:f7ff:fe62:80e2/64 Scope:Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:128 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:104 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:100 RX bytes:38017 (38.0 KB) TX bytes:10814 (10.8 KB) But I can't ping the outside world:- root@ubuntu-phablet:/# ping 8.8.8.8 PING 8.8.8.8 (8.8.8.8) 56(84) bytes of data. ^C --- 8.8.8.8 ping statistics --- 4 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 3010ms root@ubuntu-phablet:/# ping 91.189.94.156 PING 91.189.94.156 (91.189.94.156) 56(84) bytes of data. ^C --- 91.189.94.156 ping statistics --- 5 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 3999m root@ubuntu-phablet:/# route Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric RefUse Iface default 10.50.90.77 0.0.0.0 UG0 00 rmnet_usb0 default 192.168.0.1 0.0.0.0 UG0 00 wlan0 10.50.90.76 * 255.255.255.252 U 0 00 rmnet_usb0 192.168.0.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 9 00 wlan0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1218365/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
