I found a leak in snapd-glib, which is fixed in snapd-glib 1.56. It's not clear to me how to read the heaptrack data, as that leak doesn't look significant to me there. I didn't notice it in previous releases, so this is *probably* worse than in older releases. I've attached a heaptrack log. It's large, as it's over a long time period, but by the end gnome-software was idling at ~700MB of memory.
