ok, well a definite way around this is to re-install everything. I just re-installed ubuntu 64 bit and then did all of my changes, finally installed novula player and everything is working ship shape. I tried the disabling all plugins and even removing Firefox and it still did that, what an odd thing that happened. ok, well a definite way around this is to re-install everything. Did you install same version of the system (11.04)? It seems the LibreOffice plugin might have stored some bad configuration that caused the issue. Did you tried to reinstall/purge the plugin before re-installation of whole system?
