Jenkins does not support Azure, yet. Well, at least not compute.

There are some folks working on this support, but, it's not there yet.

You can get a decent VM for that.

P.S. Still looking for people willing to add slaves to jenkins. What we
need are one or two fast machines capable of running the simulator tests.

What would describe a fast machine? I'm currently not able to provide
SSD-based machines, but providing CPU and memory shouldn't be a problem.

Re: [JENKINS] Added CentOS 7 slaves

2014-11-26 Thread Hugo Trippaers
Basically it only needs to allow connections on port 22 with either a key or a
password and Jenkins will pretty much auto configure itself to run it as a
slave. So Jenkins isn’t even running on the machine, just the slave process.

What i do to prepare a machine to be a (centos) slave is:
 * install rpmbuild, git, yum-utils
 * git clone the cloudstack source (or download just the spec file)
 * run yum-builddep on packaging/centos(63|7)/cloud.spec to install all
dependencies
 * install mysql-server or mariadb-server (for the simulator)
 * remove the cloudstack sources again

Cheers,

Hugo
