Great! As soon as the artifacts are available, I will apply COCOON3-26
 (with some minor modifications).

Cool, it's available now.

Hi Andreas,

everyone can vote and we are happy about every feedback from the
community; so your vote is really appreciated.

The final vote counting however takes only binding votes into account;
binding votes are votes from the PMC members.

Hmm, may be - we can improve this over time. The code there is years old :)

I'm not too happy about the various 'protected' fields like the ones in
SAXBuffer.java or DOMBuilder.java etc. It would be all too easy to
write code that accidentally abused these fields. I suppose this could
be fixed later by making them private.
Yes, that's right.

I've had a look at the release candidate.

I'm not sure about the utility of the SAXUtils class. I think using
them will tend to obfuscate any code that uses it but it's a minor point.

Just wondering, why is it 2.0.0 and not 1.0.0?

Yes, I wondered this myself after I did the releaseI had a reason
for not starting with 1.0.0, but that's too long ago to remember. As it
doesn't really matter in the end, I decided to continue :)

AFAICT, the artifacts are ok (I've just successfully integrated it with
C3) but the release artifacts are not signed with your PGP key.
