Re: Build from Git Master

This open issue looks like what I'm seeing. Though I haven't verified or
tried the suggested workaround:

https://github.com/asciidoctor/asciidoctor-gradle-plugin/issues/177

Good choice!

Have we posted a bug report to ASCIIDoctor?

Yes that was my experience, the problems (added "Table of Contents" heading
in some cells) I was seeing in tables was not just with 1.5.3 and jdk9 but
also jdk7/8. That's why I didn't go ahead with bumping the version in
master.

So asciidoctor 1.5.3 does not work for Groovy docs on JDK8?

Re: Build from Git Master

2016-02-22 Thread John Wagenleitner
Looks like the problem is fixed in asciidoctor-gradle-plugin:1.5.3 (master
currently using 1.5.2). I tested 1.5.3 and it works with the latest jdk9
snapshot release (ea+106), but it seems to add some odd headings in
tables. Haven't had time to look into it.

This is JDK9 b106. I have no idea if it is Jigsaw or just plain OSGi ;-
