nice to meet you (again, this time officially on the Apache Marmotta
mailinglist)!

Getting write access to the repositories requires karma which can be
earned by contributing to the project before, both in therms of
bug-reports, design work, writing documentation and of course code
patches. [1,2]

I'm sure the rest of the dev-team is curious to see your proposed
redesign, maybe you can share them with us?
You could either post your patch to this list - or maybe it is easier
if you provide a few screenshots of your redesign so we can discuss
them here.

Thank you for the warm welcome!

I'll work on increasing my karma in that case ;)

You can find two screenshots of my proposed redesign in the attachment.

Here is a short list of the mayor changes:
- The landing page got its own look to catch some attention (the text 
should be abbreviated in addition)
- The Marmotta logo, Download-Button and Twitter-Label have been moved 
to a new area at the top of the page in order to become more visible 
(this area is scrollable in contrast to the fixed navigation!)

- Last published date and an oholoh banner have been added to the footer
- Colouring and navigation have been improved for conformance along with 
some minor layout and style changes


I'd appreciate any suggestions for improvements.
