Then we can use prerequisites with enforcer declaring the same min

We will have chance to use Java Generics instead of using
 java.lang.Object

property prefixes, use JDK 6 and Java 1.6 API, and break the backwards

The Java 6 is not maintained by the Oracle. It would be nice to see the

 we
would have any bigger benefits from JDK 7 except for NIO and GC

Re: [VOTE] Release Maven Surefire Plugin version 2.18 - Take 2

2014-11-02 Thread Karl Heinz Marbaise

Hi,

sha1 sum Ok.

Checked via: mvn -Prun-its clean verify

Environment:

Java version: 1.7.0_21, vendor: Oracle Corporation
Java home:
/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.7.0_21.jdk/Contents/Home/jre

Default locale: en_US, platform encoding: UTF-8
OS name: mac os x, version: 10.8.5, arch: x86_64, family: mac

Checked with Maven 3.0.5, 3.1.1, 3.2.1, 3.2.2, 3.2.3,

I've also tried to build with Maven 2.2.1 cause it claims to be
buildable with Maven 2.2.1 (prerequisites) in contradiction the
README.txt says different ...(Maven 3 minimun so it should be forced by
prerequisites as well as maven-enforcer cause prerequisites is not
checked for Maven 3.X !).

After following the suggestions in the README.txt runs without any
issue so 2.2.1 as well...

based on the above a +1 from me...

Kind regards
Karl Heinz Marbaise

I'm supposed to cancel the vote now, right? I would do a respin with an

The links I posted in the vote mail worked for me last night and they work

http://maven.apache.org/surefire-archives/ - directory name is sometimes
surefire, sometimes maven-surefire, this changes from version to
version. Maybe should be fixed to maven-surefire.

Re: [VOTE] Release Maven Surefire Plugin version 2.18

2014-10-31 Thread Grzegorz Slowikowski
Hi

There is something strange with
http://maven.apache.org/surefire-archives/surefire-2.18/
This page lists all providers, they are grandchildren and should not be
listed in
http://maven.apache.org/surefire-archives/surefire-2.18/surefire-providers/index.html
.
Additionally links to these providers are not working, for example:
http://maven.apache.org/surefire-archives/surefire-2.18/surefire-providers\common-junit4/index.html
contains backslash.

This looks like a bug in maven-project-info-reports-plugin. You should
probably clean this page by hand.

Regards
Grzegorz Slowikowski

thank you for the feedback

looks like you found issues for MPIR:

1. enhancement, to list only direct modules, not modules of modules

2. bugfix: link should replace Windows \ (gr) with web / (a)

perhaps the bugfix won't be necessary once the enhancement is done...

Please open 2 MPIR Jira issues (and send feedback to help track)

Regards,

Hervé

cancel the vote for such little issues is a lot of overhead
I propose to directly fix HTML in svnpubsub, by hand, in parallel with source

This page
