one explicitly mentions to exclude her or him from the PMC.

2022-10-31 Thread Won Wook SONG
Hi all,

[ACTION REQUIRED]!!

Thanks for your support! As for our graduation, I've created a resolution
to establish Apache Nemo. Please take a look at the following link, and add
yourself to the list of initial PMCs, if you want to be a part of it!
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1n_SSHfHlpp7pXoOueT0JZAFvcRJp8npV--dRf7yjtSE/edit?usp=sharing

I'll let it open until the end of the week, to start the voting process by
next week.

Thanks,
Wonook

Re: [DISCUSS] Project graduation?

2022-10-31 Thread Woo-Yeon Lee
As a PPMC member of Nemo, I am happy that we are talking about Nemo's
graduation :)

As Justin reminded us, during our incubation period, we have been steadily
working hard on project development and release.
Nemo has grown a lot during the incubator period, and as major committers
continue to be active, I expect it to grow even more in the future after
graduation.
So +1 for graduation.

And +1 for Wonook to be the chair of the initial PMC, as he is very
passionate about Nemo and has been active in it.

Cheers,
Woo-Yeon

Re: [DISCUSS] Project graduation?

2022-10-25 Thread Byung-Gon Chun
Hi Wonook,

Thank you for sharing the process!

I recommend Wonook to be the chair of the initial PMC.
Wonook has been very active in the Nemo community.
He has developed the main parts of Nemo. He has been our evangelist to
introduce Nemo to various venues including a Beam summit.

Cheers,
Gon
