Re: [VOTE] Release Apache NetBeans 11.2 [vote candidate 1]
Sorry for butting in where I probably don't belong on this, but I am concerned about the state of 11.2 on the Java EE front - one of the headlines for 11.1 was the integrated Payara support, but I have just posted four separate but related bugs in the Java EE / Payara support relating to Maven starter projects. The Enterprise Application project for example, simply does not function. If Payara is now fully integrated with NB 11.1+ and it turns out that is where the problems lie, does that mean we have to wait for 11.3 before we can get any fixes to these released? Re: [VOTE] Release Apache NetBeans 11.2 [vote candidate 1]
+1 (binding) Built from source with the following environment: openjdk version "1.8.0_192" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_192-amazon-corretto-preview-b12) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.192-b12, mixed mode) Ran with 'ant tryme' and with 'nbbuild/netbeans/bin/netbeans'. Looked at LICENSE and NOTICE and README -- all look good, no problems. Tried to find JARs other than those listed and failed. Also downloaded and ran convenience binary -- verified signatures and sha512 of source and binary. Created one of the JavaFX Gluon samples, set JDK 13, ran after changing 'Run project' action to 'clean javafx:run'. Verified no jar files in source except for files mentioned. Built from source using JDK 11.0.4 with ant arguments -Dpermit.jdk9.builds=true and -Dcluster.config=full. Ran with "ant tryme" as well as nbbuild/netbeans/bin/netbeans. Also ran convenience binary. For both: opened a Java project, nb-javac installed correctly. Ran with clean and imported userdirs. -- Glenn Holmer (Linux registered user #16682) "After the vintage season came the aftermath -- and Cenbe." - To unsubscribe, e-mail: dev-unsubscr...@netbeans.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: dev-h...@netbeans.apache.org For further information about the NetBeans mailing lists, visit: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/NETBEANS/Mailing+lists
