I also like the top-right and bottom-right logos.  I might suggest adding a 
third moon to the top-right logo to tie in with the triples motif and the RDF 
logo better (possibly under the 'Y').

- 1.5 likes for  the bottom right corner in ryaLogos.pdf, with the colored 
moons (Caleb, Kevin)
- 2.5 likes for the top right corner with RYA in the middle of the ring (Kevin, 
Mark-off list, Adina)

Do other people want to express their preference? I would like to have a 
decision by tomorrow, so we can order some stickers before ApacheCon.

Susan, would it be possible to have the top right corner logo with the dots 
having red-ish color  instead of blue, to go with the rya.apache.org website 
color scheme (that color is #990033)?

I like the one in the bottom right corner of the PDF. Blue planet, white ring, 
black background, colored moons. The only thing a little awkward about it is 
the name bellow the logo.

I also like the one in the upper right corner where the name is in the middle 
of the planet.

You could use the programmatic client instead of the Shell to load data into an 
installed instance of Rya. The shell is just a command line tool that 
integrates with the programmatic client.

Like I said, I get to choose my format so NTRIPLES it is.  I like your second 
suggestion.  It's all programmatic and I have a background with Hadoop so good! 
I am going to have a lot of files anyway.

It would appear I have everything I need here.  I just have to put it together 
my way.  I see the RdfFileInputFormat, which can be set with RDFFormat.  I am 
not sure how to use the RyaOutputFormat, but I'll give it a try.  We'll see.

It was checked into 3.2.10. I don't recall if the Rya Details stuff is enabled 
by default or if it works without using the rya shell to manage your instance. 
I thought we had a jira ticket relating to version statement, but I'm unable to 
find it.

Newer versions of Rya use the Rya Details table to keep track of this sort of 
metadata.

I suppose keeping track of metadata about the version of Rya that was used to 
persist data into Accumulo is useful, but shouldn't this metadata be stored in 
a different table?  (like a metadata table, or something?).  I imagine users 
will be surprised if triples they didn't add appear in their store, and 
surprising users is a code smell.  What are your thoughts?
