Re: RE: RE: can't create a Rya Accumulo repo in Vagrant Exampleofincubator-rya

2018-05-17 Thread bob
Thanks Eric! After making those changes, the installation seemed to
go fine. Running "vagrant up" got me up through the message "default:
Finished and ready to use!"
Of the 6 steps under "Verification" at
https://github.com/apache/incubator-rya/tree/master/extras/vagrantExample/src/main/vagrant,
steps 1, 2, 5, and 6 work, but
http://192.168.33.10:8080/rdf4j-workbench [1] got me an HTTP 404 from
TomCat and http://192.168.33.10:8080/web.rya/sparqlQuery.jsp [2] got
me "HTTP Status 500 - java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space"
Scrolling back through the installation status messages, it looks
like RDF4J installed fine, with that part ending with the message "
default: RDF4J workbench deployed at
http://rya-example-box:8080/rdf4j-workbench [3]".
I am running this under Ubuntu 16.04 on a machine with (as reported
by Ubuntu) 15.6 GiB of memory and VirtualBox.
 Thanks,
 Bob

 Bob,
For now you can use the 3 Rya files I hosted that the Vagrantfile
needs. Change these 4 lines:
 Line 55:
 export RYA_EXAMPLE_VERSION=4.0.0-incubating-SNAPSHOT
 Line 318:
 download --output ${ryaIndexing}.zip
https://www.dropbox.com/s/gruhp3a848k8ryu/${ryaIndexing}.zip?raw=1 ||

 Line 344:
 download --output ${ryaVagrant}.jar

 Line 355:

 also note:
that we can update documentation with respect to running rya (on
accumulo +
 hdfs) in a distributed environment (i.e. DC/OS (dcos.io)) using
marathon + docker... works just nicely..

Re: RE: can't create a Rya Accumulo repo in Vagrant Example ofincubator-rya

2018-05-16 Thread bob
That may put me one step away. The Vagrantfile is also looking for
the rya zip file in
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/rya/rya.indexing.example/4.0.0-incubating,
[1] but the
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/rya/rya.indexing.example [2]
directory currently only has 3.2.* subdirectories. Do you know where I
find the 4.0.0-incubating zip file, or whether it's OK to use one of
the 3.2 ones?
 Thanks,
 Bob

can't create a Rya Accumulo repo in Vagrant Example of incubator-rya

2018-05-15 Thread bob
  I
am trying to use the Rya Vagrant Example shown at
https://github.com/apache/incubator-rya/tree/master/extras/vagrantExample/src/main/vagrant.
After updating the ACCUMULO_VERSION, HADOOP_VERSION, and
RYA_EXAMPLE_VERSION values in Vagrantfile (the old values referenced
versions that were no longer available) , I got incubatory-rya
installed, and all of the verification steps worked. After clicking
New Repository, I can create an "In Memory Store" (and add triples to
it and query them), but after entering a Type of "Rya Accumulo Store",
an ID, a title, and accepting all the default values shown, I can't
create a repo. When I click the Create button, nothing happens on the
screen.
The Chrome console adds these messages each time I click "Create"on
that screen:
 jquery-1.11.0.min.js:4 GET
http://192.168.33.10:8080/rdf4j-workbench/repositories/undefined/info
[1] 500 (Internal Server Error)
 send @ jquery-1.11.0.min.js:4
 ajax @ jquery-1.11.0.min.js:4
 checkOverwrite @ create.ts:25
 onclick @
create?type=RyaAccumuloSail=id4=title+of+id4=Next:28
create.ts:37 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'match' of
undefined
 at Object.complete (create.ts:37)
 at j (jquery-1.11.0.min.js:2)
 at Object.fireWith (jquery-1.11.0.min.js:2)
 at x (jquery-1.11.0.min.js:4)
 at XMLHttpRequest.b (jquery-1.11.0.min.js:4)
 Any suggestions?
 Thanks,
 Bob
