Apart from that if the broker fails in middle, after successful start up, the reconnection should happen fine. Yes... This is what I was doing. We should handle this scenario too, right? @Shammi/Malinga WDYT? Should we provide some notification and stop the server start if user forgets to start JMS provider (broker) in prior to start AS, ESB etc.? IMO as our documentation clearly says that it is needed to start the broker first in each integrating scenarios, i am not sure whether it is needed to handle this. Hi Ishara, We do not need to stop any functionality on the unavailability of the broker. What we should do is , we need to wait and check whether the broker is there time to time. This waiting time should be grow up exponentially by making its max limit to one hour. [Dev] [GREG] What happens if a user wants to change the state of an already defined lifecycle?
I tried to do $subject in the default ServiceLifeCycl. E.g., I tried to change the lifecycle state Development in to State1 scxml xmlns=http://www.w3.org/2005/07/scxml; version=1.0 initialstate=Development etc... in to scxml xmlns=http://www.w3.org/2005/07/scxml; version=1.0 initialstate=State1 etc... What happens is the lifecycle bar itself is lost form the mgt console. Is this an issue or expected or is this use case valid? Re: [Dev] [Architecture] WSO2 CEP 3.0.0-Alpha Released!
Hi Cyril, Thank you for your feedback on the alpha-release. Yes, the final release is close by... :-) There seems to have been a typo in the windows script for running samples which puts an additional 's' in searching for the directory. Can you do the following and check whether samples work for you? 1. Rename the attached wso2cep-samples.script as wso2cep-samples.bat 2. Put the modified file in CEP_HOME\bin and replace the existing file. 3. Run the samples Thanks, Lasantha On 21 August 2013 12:00, Cyril Rognon crog...@gmail.com wrote: Hi all, thank you for the announce. I hope the final is close :) For the record, I have just tried the first sample and found some error on a win32 setup : org.wso2.carbon.utils.ServerException: Repository location '/../samples/cep-samples/artifacts/s1/' not found! Re: [Dev] LB Stabilization for Kernel 4.2.0 release
On Wed, Aug 21, 2013 at 7:39 AM, Sameera Jayasoma same...@wso2.com wrote: Can we have an update on the ELB issues? This issue has been dragging for some time and its not been easy to fix it cause the error is thrown from httpcore-nio runtime. While an HTTP request being served, the connection gets closed abruptly and the server continues to use a closed connection, hence the error is thrown. The problem is even worse since its intermittent and cant get reproduced locally. This can either be a bug in httpcore-nio or not be a bug at all. When a connection is broken due to network inconsistencies, it is reasonable for the server to throw an Exception. But at the same time, httocore can erroneously be using a closed connection. We cant analyze the run time behaviour either coz the issue does not get reproduced locally. Using EC2 setup used by QA team for debugging purposes is not practical. So its a good idea if we can have a clone of the Ec2 set-up for debugging purposes. Since we are syncing the CApps(not individual artifact) on a worker manager separated cluster, this will lead to a conflict. For Example if we deployed a CApp bundled with ServiceA and ServiceB, And Undeploy ServiceA from Node1 ,then cluster will end-up as like below *Node1 * * Node2* CApp CApp ServiceA Service BService B IMO we should follow the CApp undeployment also in atomic manner. Hi Ratha, Did you able to resolve this issue ? If not please revert your changes until you find a proper solution for this. This has become a absolute blocker for us. Because of this issue we were using a patched pack and reverting some commits locally for last couple of days and we cannot live with that anymore. Please do your changes in a way that no functional breaks at the ESB level. Re: [Dev] Updated Invitation: Code Review - Event Builder @ Mon Aug 19, 2013 4pm - 5:30pm (raje...@wso2.com)
Hi, Following is the summary of suggestions given during the code review. 1. Rename EventBuilderStreamJunction as the Manager and StreamEventDispatcher as the Junction 2. Making DtoConvertible as abstract DtoConverter 3. Make BasicDtoConverter to be a generic converter 4. In InputMapper remove mapping creation from interface (move to the constructor), make processInputEvent return an array and make createExportedStreamDefinition return an attribute array. 5. For XmlMappingTestCase, use EventBuilder instead of the mapping 6. Refactoring EventBuilderAdminService – remove unnecessary methods 7. Change onAddDefinition(StreamDefinition) in BasicEventListener to take an Attribute array instead. @Lasantha please add anything missing here. +1. But we are observing weird behavior in the test framework (may be TestNGissue) even with the default pack. The main problem is test framework load all the test cases in all the packages and execute randomly. This makes the different results at each time we run all the tests together. Thanks Ajith. We have to get G-Reg pack and edit DB configs, then compress it and put it to the correct location and execute tests. We can generate a pack with all integration tests and point and run but, but all test cases depends on the run time configuration changes will be skipped, To get the full benefit of automated tests I highly recommend to run the tests on the branch. Hi Ajith I am looking into this. Thanks, Nuwanw On Thu, Aug 22, 2013 at 11:20 AM, Ajith Vitharana aji...@wso2.com wrote: +1. But we are observing weird behavior in the test framework (may be TestNG issue) even with the default pack. The main problem is test framework load all the test cases in all the packages and execute randomly. This makes the different results at each time we run all the tests together. Thanks Ajith.
