Re: [Dev] Getting OperationNotSupportedException when creating the initial context for tenants
Hi Melan , Can you set org.wso2.carbon.context.RequestBaseContext property in the jndi environment properties to get InitialContext.? E.g :- environment = new Hashtable(); environment.put(CarbonConstants.REQUEST_BASE_CONTEXT, true); context = new InitialDirContext(environment); Thanks. Re: [Dev] Getting OperationNotSupportedException when creating the initial context for tenants
Hi All, Thanks for the info, first we tried with start super tenant flow for sending each subscription message, The fix suggested by Ajanthan is more straightforward. Now we are still getting a different error [2], but seems no harm, any idea, is it safe to ignore? @Kishanthan, I think it's not intentionally, only reason is subscription happens with particular tenant privileges. [Dev] [SAML2 Authentication]
I am using SAML2SSOAuthenticationService to get jsessionid to authenticate with EntitlementService admin service. When my role has all permission in user manager permission tree, jsessionid is valid to authenticate with EntitlementService admin service but If I have login permission only jsessionid is not valid to authenticate with EntitlementService admin service. Hi all, We upgraded Guava to 13.0.1 and Netty to *3.6.6.Final in *chunk-06 release. As they were already OSGi bundles we didn't create wso2 versions of them. (@Isuru: Thanks for pointing out.) Re: [Dev] [BAM] Script getting too much time to execute
Hi Chamila, It will take sometime to execute *insert overwrite table hourlyusage * * select userIp, SiteIp, size, '11' from hourlyLog;* Usually it takes some time to submit the job to Hadoop and initially create the meta tables for Cassandra table and RDB table. Re: [Dev] [APIM] Status update on improving automated tests for API manager
Hi All, After adding tests to cover comment, rating, token generation and host object functionalities i was able to reach 37% line coverage and 52% method coverage. At this point we have covered most of the common API management related use cases. Now we need to pay attention to workflow integration, usage publishing, token partition and some other edge cases. Also we might need to add test cases to cover negative test cases to cover exception classes as well. I found that auto generated thrift code is having large number of lines and some of them never get executed. Shall we filter out them? Any suggestions or ideas? Before adding test cases code coverage was about 2% (default test set). Once we added nuwanW implemented you tube sample it was about 12%. After that we added 4 existing JMeter scripts it was about 24% (and i need to fix some remaining issues in other 2 scripts). So at this moment code coverage is about 24%. As we do not have usage related tests i removed usage packages from instrumentation file. We might need to add tests to cover API Manager and BAM integration to cover usage related code. Here are some of the areas we might need to focus on (based on emma report). - Tests to cover Key management web service API as we use thrift by default. - Also found that exception classes are playing major role as we do not test exceptions in our tests. For this we can skip exception classes of add tests to cover exceptions. - We need to implement throttling scenario tests to cover throttling code base. - For the moment we can safely ignore uri-template scenarios as we have comprehensive unit tests for that. But we might need tests for url mapping. - We need to cover JWT generation and signing scenario (include claims retrieving) as we have significant amount of code written for that. - We need to add tests to cover tenant scenarios. - We might need to add token parser test cases. - Also we should add some test cases to cover all operations exposed by host object classes(we can achieve this through more scenarios). - Some tests to cover workflow scenarios(user creation, application creation and subscription). - Application level throttling tests and we found that significant amount of throttling code will not execute. - Add some test to cover comments, rating related operations. Please let know your ideas and feedback. We have planned to add test cases to cover missed areas. Thanks, sanjeewa. -- *Sanjeewa Malalgoda* Senior Software Engineer WSO2 Inc. Re: [Dev] Twitter Connector SSL handshaking fails
I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly what to say in the docs about authentication. I'm reading through Twitter's documentation on OAuth, and I'm not clear on what applies to WSO2 as creators of the Twitter connector and what users of our Twitter connector have to actually configure. Can someone walk me through the specific steps that one of our connector users would have to do to get the Twitter connector to authenticate with and connect to Twitter? Please note that we are still missing a full working example or any real sample values that will help people understand how to use the connector. Re: [Dev] Twitter Connector SSL handshaking fails
Hi Jackie, I have been using twitter connector for an enterprise use case in past few days. As far as I have figured out, following are the steps to get it working. However, some of these are purely twitter related activities, don't know whether we can/should mention them in our docs. 1. Goto https://dev.twitter.com/apps and create a new application. Here you have to provide some basic information about the app. 2. Once the app is created it will show you the following artifacts which you need to use in twitter.init operation. [Consumer key, Consumer secret, Access token, Access token secret] 3. Prior to deploying, visit https://api.twitter.com/oauth2/tokenhttps://www.google.com/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.twitter.com%2Foauth2%2Ftokensa=Dsntz=1usg=AFQjCNE4_apO1KFJZjWn-dwt_6XfwAOR-Q on your browser and click on the https trust icon on address bar and follow Connection tab. 4. Click certificate information and follow details tab on the appearing dialog. There use 'Export' option to export the trust certificate to the file system. 5. Then use the following command to import that certificate into ESB client trust store. keytool -importcert -file certificate file -keystore ESB/repository/resources/security/client-truststore.jks -alias TwitterTrustCertImport 6. After this, restart the server and deploy the twitter configuration. Hope this helps. Re: [Dev] [ESB] Sending Binary data as request body
Hi Ramindu, When using binary relay builder message is encoded and wrapped in an envelop. [1] contains more information regarding this. How are you trying to access the data? If you need to access it from a class mediator you need to decode the message. eg:- javax.xml.namespace.QName BINARY_CONTENT_QNAME = new javax.xml.namespace.QName(http://ws.apache.org/commons/ns/payload;, binary); org.apache.axiom.om.OMElement contentEle = ((org.apache.synapse.core.axis2.Axis2MessageContext)mc).getEnvelope().getBody().getFirstChildWithName(BINARY_CONTENT_QNAME); System.out.println(contentEle.getText()); byte[]bytes = org.apache.axiom.om.util.Base64.decode(contentEle.getText()); System.out.println( --- ); System.out.println(new String(bytes)); System.out.println( --- ); 1 http://wso2.com/library/articles/binary-relay-efficient-way-pass-both-xml-non-xml-content-through-apache-synapse/ Best Regards, Malaka On Mon, Jan 27, 2014 at 8:11 AM, Ramindu Deshapriya rasad...@gmail.comwrote: Essentially what I'm trying to do is, attach a file along with a REStful PUT request, the same as you'd be able to do through a SOAPUI REST project. Re: [Dev] remove empty parameters from payload - http post / json
You can inject optional parameters as required using enrich mediator as mentioned by Indika. So you can create the initial payload and use enrich for optional parameters. Re: [Dev] SVN based dep synch not working as expected {ESBJAVA-2658}
I'm assuming that since we didn't test it on 4.8.0, it's not officially supported, and therefore no docs are needed yet, correct?
