Yes those were configuration issues and got them sorted out now.. Instead of using ELB and usual configuration, changed the setup to have different combination (e.g Apache http server, different host names for LB and IS nodes, different key stores). So came across some config issues and minor issues in IS/feature installation/Documentation.. e.g. https://wso2.org/browse/IDENTITY-2614 https://wso2.org/browse/APIMANAGER-2607 https://wso2.org/jira/browse/APIMANAGER-2618 Also, are we testing stuff like SSO? In the case of API-M, we do API loading, application loading, tenant loading, etc we connect to an LDAP with ~500,000 users. What are the auto tests that we run on this setup (if at all)? In clustered setup we should consider mainly on platform integration scenarios. So we need to have specific platform test suites to run on these setups. At the moment we don't have comprehensive platform auto test suite. Running the same integration tests which already run on a standalone pack doesn't add any value unless the product is configured with different JDKs, DBs, OS or user stores. My plan is to run integration test with environment combinations in standalone mode but not with product cluster. However automation story is not 100% smooth in SVN based builds due to frequent build breaks and unavailability of proper CI builds. We are working around GIT based model to get cross platform auto test execution finalized. Other drawback is, if we take ESB, it has around 1000 integration test cases, but only around 500 cases compatible with ESB cluster. This is due to configuration changes done at test run time referring carbon home. So when it comes to clustered setup we ignore those tests using special TestNG annotation. Thus, even though we run the all integration tests on clustered setup only portion of tests get executed. And upcoming deployment automation tool (based on puppet) will ease test execution on different product clusters. To tests with different platform combinations product teams can simply configure the pack and replace the pack at distribution target, and then execute the integration tests with it. Thanks, Krishantha. Thanks, Samisa...
