Just to be sure - the dist tag in your example confuse me little - this is only
F24+ and it will not be backported to
F23. Right?

[Test-Announce] 2016-03-07 @ 17:00 UTC - Fedora 24 Blocker Review

2016-03-06 Thread Adam Williamson
# F24 Blocker Review meeting
# Date: 2016-03-07
# Time: 17:00 UTC
# Location: #fedora-blocker-review on irc.freenode.net

Hi folks! We have a few proposed blockers to review, so let's take a
look at them. There are 4 proposed Alpha blockers, 2 proposed Beta
blockers, and 1 proposed Final blocker. We should also look at the 5
proposed Alpha freeze exceptions, as Alpha freeze is due this week. If
there's time, we can go through the accepted Alpha blockers also.

If you have time this weekend, you can take a look at the proposed or
accepted blockers before the meeting -  the full lists can be found
here: https://qa.fedoraproject.org/blockerbugs/ . Remember to check
each milestone (Alpha, Beta, Final).

We'll be evaluating these bugs to see if they violate any of the
Release Criteria and warrant the blocking of a release if they're not
fixed. Information on the release criteria for F24 can be found on the
wiki [0].

For more information about the Blocker and Freeze exception process,
check out these links:
 - https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:SOP_freeze_exception_bug_process

And for those of you who are curious how a Blocker Review Meeting
works - or how it's supposed to go and you want to run one - check out
the SOP on the wiki:

Have a good weekend and see you on Monday!

Greetings testers!

It's meeting time again tomorrow! We met last week, but we didn't make
it to Test Days, and it's been another exciting week in F24-land and
we're supposed to freeze this week, so we could probably do with
another sync-up on F24 status.

If anyone has any other items for the agenda, please reply to this
email and suggest them! Thanks.

== Proposed Agenda Topics ==

1. Previous meeting follow-up
2. Fedora 24 status

Epoch would not help here. The Epoch would have to be bumped in Rawhide,
where the package does not build at all, not even the old version.

Sorry, I already wrote in bugzilla what happened, my mistake, hopefully
it is fixed. Soundtouch in f23 stable, happens because we got 3
positive votes, very quickly and I coundn't rollback when I realize my
mistake. Anyway I hope, now, all users have a better experience .

Sadly this update is already pushed to stable, but next time:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:NamingGuidelines#Minor_release_bumps_for_old_branches

or I suppose you could add an Epoch. I'd only suggest that if you are
unable to fix f24/rawhide in a timely manner.

Unfortunately no, as that would break upgrades to F24. You might be
stuck until that gets fixed.

Hi, I've received the above notification from the QA processes after
submitting a build.

Background:
- new gcc has broken audacity build in future Fedora releases. So can't
update F24/devel yet.
- new soundtouch in f23 has broken audacity there. The new build is
correct and works, but is newer than the uncompilable F24/devel for the
moment.

Can I ignore that an push the build anyway for F23 (I can't see the push
button) ?

Cheers, Dave.

I thought we were going to change this so the repo configuration didn't
enable signature checking till after we turn on Bodhi?

Check needed on packaging python stuff

2016-03-06 Thread Mattia Verga
Since it is my first package which includes python stuff, I would ask if
someone more experienced in python packaging could have a look to this
review request:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1299139
Am I doing things right with python scriptlets? I can also do a review
swap, if needed.

Thanks
Mattia

They're not gated until bodhi is enabled so there's a window where we
can't guarantee they're signed so this is expected, come Tuesday when
bodhi is enabled it will be.

Latest F24 push packages not signed ?

2016-03-06 Thread Hans de Goede

Hi,

I'm getting:

Error: Package systemd-udev-229-5.fc24.x86_64.rpm is not signed

When doing a "dnf update", I'm following the f24 branch / repo.
This used to work with previous pushes, and AFAIK F24 pushes
are supposed to be signed ?

Regards,

Hans
