My builds worked. Thanks Frantisek

The -5 build is done and in the buildroot now - Justin, can you re-try
the kernel build and see if it works now? Sorry for the trouble.

Re: Rawhide builds failing for a while now

2021-12-28 Thread Frantisek Zatloukal
So, it seems it didn't come to my mind that builders might not have new
enough rpm to use rpm.open() which is available since rpm 4.17.0.

A fix for it (
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/authselect/pull-request/15# ) has been
merged, old authselect untagged, the new build of authselect should
hopefully behave well now and builds of other packages should start working
soon (after the local repo gets updated).

No need to open bz, I am reading emails throughout the holidays :)

I am taking a look at it, and will try to make a PR asap, sorry for the
breakage. It is weird that it fails on rpm.open() though, if I've
understood the documentation correctly, it should be available anytime.

That is a different error during the transaction. The original warning I
mentioned is in dbus-broker, and is only a warning (the RPM transaction
continues with no error). The other two you have are in the authselect-libs
package, and they appear to be caused by the change to using lua for the
pre scriplets in
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/authselect/c/00f6a084f99e2a9ee9ceaaad3d4896e4bfc591dd?branch=rawhide.
It is probably best to open a BZ against the authselect component with
those errors.

This one shouldn't be fatal at least. I saw it in mock builds a while ago
and opened a bugzilla about it back then (

kernel/kernel-tools/kernel-headers have been falling for about 5 days
now on x86 "unable to init mock buildroot" with:

useradd warning: dbus's uid 81 outside of the SYS_UID_MIN 201 and
SYS_UID_MAX 999 range.

error: lua script failed: [string
"%prein(authselect-libs-1.3.0-4.fc36.x86_64)"]:8: field 'open' is not
callable (a nil value)

Error in PREIN scriptlet in rpm package authselect-libs
error: authselect-libs-1.3.0-4.fc36.x86_64: install failed

Well, thats the list of all failed builds in koji. There's various
different reasons for each of them to have failed...

For example, the kf* ones at the top right now are due to a missing
kaccounts-integration-devel of the needed version.

You have to look at each build and drill down to whatever error it hit
that caused it to fail.

If you mean the rawhide composes that are failing thats due to two bugs:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2034715
(anaconda dies with a traceback on 32bit arm)

and

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2035812
(systemd-journald fails to start on 32bit arm).

I've untagged some packages and am running another compose right now to
see if that gets things going.
