No, PostgreSQL 9.5 is required for oVirt 4.2+

4.2 CQ was completely broken for a long time (engine was completely
missing), so nothing sent to it passed. We should have probably re-issued
merges once we stabilized it.

[ovirt-devel] Packages not landed on tested repo

2018-03-06 Thread Sandro Bonazzola
Hi,

looks like we have some packages which never passed OST, never landed
in ovirt-4.2-snapshot repo

and are currently causing failure building the appliance from 4.2 snapshot repo:

03:17:20,893 INFO program:Error: Package:
ovirt-engine-4.2.2.3-0.0.master.20180305171049.git0e81394.el7.centos.noarch

03:17:20,896 INFO program:Requires: ovirt-js-dependencies
03:17:20,897 INFO program:Error: Package:
ovirt-engine-4.2.2.3-0.0.master.20180305171049.git0e81394.el7.centos.noarch
(ovirt-4.2-snapshot)
03:17:20,897 INFO program:Requires: ovirt-engine-wildfly-overlay >= 11.0.1
03:17:20,899 INFO program:Error: Package:
ovirt-engine-api-explorer-0.0.3-0.alpha.1.20180215git9b54c9c.el7.centos.noarch
(ovirt-4.2-snapshot)
03:17:20,900 INFO program:Requires: ovirt-js-dependencies >= 1.2

I'm now trying to get the missing packages pass thorough the whole testing
pipeline but be aware those packages have already been released 3 months
ago so they are stable and manually tested and were passing master OST.
I've no clue on why they are missing in the 4.2 testing pipeline.

Oh nemo.sonarqube.org is still free for opensource project, they just
changed the mein url:
https://sonarcloud.io/dashboard?id=org.ovirt.engine%3Aroot

So it might still be useful. There is this other code analysis too, so up

I guess this is related to the postgresql database version provided to
travis. See https://travis-ci.org/oVirt/ovirt-engine/builds/349675802#L497.
It complains about:

psql:./packaging/dbscripts/common_sp.sql:1305: ERROR: type jsonb does not
exist

Is postgres 9.2 still correct, or is there something needed to enable
jsonb? See https://github.com/oVirt/ovirt-engine/blob/master/.travis.yml#L17
for the current version used.

To be honest I am not sure if that free sonarqube offer still exists. You
can probably just remove the .travis.yml file.

Best Regards,

Roman
